ok....only motherboard is not working ..so i want to replaceYou're going to have to look for old Socket 478 motherboards. These are so old (nearly 15 years) that you're not going to be really be able to look for something specific on the secondary market, you'll have to first find a motherboard with the right socket and then find the original manual/website and see if the CPU is compatible.
On something this old putting any money into it is hard to justify. How long before the next components dies. You can quickly end up putting more money into old hardware to realise you could have got something modern and much faster.ok....only motherboard is not working ..so i want to replace
Was there an lga 775 version of the Pentium 4? Pentium 4 524 supposedly an lga775 socket cpu according to Intel.
Might make searching motherboards easier if this was an lga 775 variant.
Good catch. It's been so long that I forgot it was a 775.
