Which motherboard and graphic card?

I am wondering if I should get either MSI or ASUS motherboard and graphic card for my new computer.

So either MSI gtx 970 or Asus gtx 970 as graphic card, which one?

And either MSI Z97 gaming 7 or ASUS Maximus VII ranger, which one? Is the Asus Z97-A anything compared to these two?

Please help!

I would go with the Asus VII Ranger as it is the better board (not by that much though) and as for the GPU, go with the one which has the better colour scheme for your build as they both perform excellently and neither is any better than the other feature wise as they are both very quiet etc.
