Solution
The Maximus VII Hero is a better motherboard than the Z97 Gaming 5.I would get that one.
You can get the Sapphire in red,but it's the reference version,which doesn't have good cooling.

What about MSI Gaming 5
 


Asus tend to make better motherboards than msi
Asus VII Ranger
MSI Gaming 5
Gigabyte G1 Sniper z97
ASrock extreme 4
Those 4 are pretty much the best mid tier z97 boards out there
