Which motherboard for E6600 + 8800GTS

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've upgraded my computer, and since then, it seems I've lost touch with the technology and even the vendors.

I've recently purchased an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, and will be making a few more purchases to upgrade my main components and am trying to find the best motherboard to fit.

In addition to the processor, I plan on purchasing the following:
EVGA 320-P2-N811-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB

I originally thought of going all out with an eVGA nVideo 680i board, but since I won't be running SLI, nor be using a bunch of other super-high-end technology I thought perhaps there was a cheaper solution. Right now I've heard a bunch of things about the GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3, which seems to be a better price-compromise.

I'm just looking for some opinions on the mobo or anything else. Thanks!

It would really depend on the price range you have in mind - how much would you wanna spend on the mobo?
Any special needs/wishes for onboard features?

Well,

I haven't really been much of an OC'er (doesn't mean I wouldn't try, just never got into it back when it was pretty risky to do so--though now it seems pretty simple). Upgradeability would be nice, but not a nesessity. I would, atleast, want it to support Intel quad-core so I could upgrade that in the future.

Basically, any high-end or upgradable features are a bonus, but not at a $100+ over one without. I really want a stable motherboard that supports the technology of today, and possibly tomorrow, for the best price.

I'm looking for the best bang for my buck, both in features and power. Something like $100-$200.

I bought the eVGA 680i SLI about 3 months ago for my Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, PC6400 (DDR2 800) 2 GB and eVGA nVidia GTS 320MB. Love them to death. Very good motherboard...came with lots of cables. Easy to overclock. Fits in my old ATX case with no problem. I had to upgrade my main power supply from 350 Watts to 750 Watts to ensure that I will not be short on power [Fry’s Electronics has a sale on the Thermaltake 750W (85% efficiency) for only $99.00...retail for $190.00]. The Gigabyte is a nice board(lil quirky but nice),but why get an sli board if your not going to utilize it.There's alot of great 775 mobo's out there for 100 to 200 clams.
