Hi all....Need advise on a decent low cost motherboard around say $60.

I am building a home/multimedia PC as my daily driver so to speak, using Win7. (i dont play games but would like to be able to stream and play 1080p if possible). I have always used Asus in the past....but have not built a new PC in 8 years.

Parts I have now:
Intel i7 1155/2600hz
Samsung 8gb DDr3 1333mhz (4 dims)
500w power supply
Asus CG8350 case
new but old WD 100gb HD (later go to a SSD)
could use a Sapphire Radeon HD6450 (silent) or NVIDA 8800GT (jet plane loud though).

Friend suggested to get a Asus P8H61-M LE cause it has 1 PCI slot for what ever....like sound card which I might use. But the P8H61 M LE only has 2 memory slots and I will not be able to use the 4 sticks of ram i have. So I am looking at maybe a BIOSTAR TZ77A LGA 1155?

I have a GT8800 vid card to use...but its freaking jet plane loud and I would rather use on board Vid outs if possible....so HDMI and DVI is needed for my 2 monitor setup. (TV and 24 monitor). Not sure if these on board graphics will work as good as the silent Radeon 6450?

I am on a tight budget....so I can get that board for about $65 from the egg. I would appreciate any opinions as trying to figure out motherboards now a days is more confusing because of choice and all the new tech I have not kept up on for years.

What is the model of your CPU? Nowadays, the boards themselves do not have integrated graphics. The CPU has the GPU in it but the board still has to support it, which both of the ones you listed do. But to be honest, I think just about anything you are looking at will fit the bill. If you aren't playing games any modern integrated graphics from an i7 should have no problem with 1080p.

etched on the back of the CPU is:

Intel Core i7-2600
SR00B 3.4ghz
MalY
L839B290

I rarely ever play games anymore. I just want good quality Dual Monitor video for watching streams and playing back 1080p stuff. I do some video editing and use my PC to high end 24 inch monitor and an older 38' 720p LCD TV.

That chip has integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000. Integrated graphics have come a long way in the last 8 years. You won't have any problem playing video at 1080p and could probably do some light gaming as well. If I were building an HTPC as you are I would stick with integrated graphics. Many of the motherboards that support them can do dual monitors as well. Mine even supports triple monitors on the integrated graphics. As far as the motherboard goes, just make sure it has everything else you need and will support integrated graphics on the CPU, which I'm fairly certain all or most will.

Anyway, if you are mostly concerned about graphics, then the board really won't play any part in that as the CPU has the graphics integrated and you already bought that. I am pretty sure any board you get of that socket type will support integrated graphics with a capable CPU. I would just focus on any other features you want on the motherboard. If the integrated graphics suck then you could always just try the Sapphire.
