Which motherboard is the best for X99 platform?

I need to know which motherboard would be best for my build. I have been looking I just can't decide. I have chosen an Asrock Extreme6. Am I on the right track?

ASRock is my preferred motherboard manufacturer, but ASUS, ASRock, MSI and Gigabyte are all pretty much bunched at the top.

Its X99, practically every motherboard is good. Most will overclock the cpu u choose near its max, It comes down to feature set, expansion slots, and maybe appearance. Also look for one that is stable as x99 is still fairly new and some boards still have issues.

Would agree with karsten75 but they mentioned every manufacturer or mainstream 2011-3 socket motherboard maker that isnt server quality beside evga and they make just as good of board as the rest.

I prefer ASUS personally, but they are all good, and ASRock does have the most available X99 boards to get the one you want for features etc at a good price.
