Which motherboard is this and can I install am3 processor???

I'm running amd phenom x4 9550 with ddr2 4gb gpu gtx 650 ti
I have no idea which motherboard I have
I want to upgrade but don't know What my motherboard will support

unfortunately you have the most powerful cpu it can hold........how much can you spen on an upgrade? you may be able to get more modern parts with a larger later upgrade path,

gpu you are fine and 8gb ddr3 ram is cheap right now but if your budget is really tight id say save enough for cpu, mobo, ram, gpu and post again when you are ready to buy all and we can build a set up for you with current prices. a decent budget build assuming you are using the same hdd, psu, case you currently have is about $380 for the i3 or $426 for an i5
