Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard OR ASRock Z97 EXTREME6 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard OR ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard. This is going to be a gaming PC, most likely with one or two RX 480 GPUs

If you can, can you give me Skylake 6h gen build in my price range, if that's even possible?

I might do that actually but is it worth it since I have Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz RAM. This is my final build for teh i5-4690km, https://pcpartpicker.com/user/BlessedNoob/saved/ the gpu is just there for now until the RX 480 comes out. also i plan on having crossfire as well.

Sell your DDR3 rams. DDR4 and skylake is the way to go now. DDR4 uses less power, operates in less voltage and is recommended for the skylake system.

I prefer gigabyte motherboards over others because did not have a single problem with them till now. Even have a 8 years old G41 from them which is running 7 days a week for the whole time.

One more thing. I already have a 500gb hard drive that had SATA ports and cables. This hdd has my os and everything else on it such as my games, prgrams, etc. Can i take that hdd out and put it onto the new PC and new motherboard and will it have Win7 or is it stuck?

I've tried to upgrade to Windows 10 but the PC that I have now just won't let me, i've tried a lot. Im fine with Windows 7 so it's not too big of a deal
