My old motherboard gave out and I need to buy a new motherboard. I'm looking for a decent motherboard for gaming. I am willing to spend $150 for a motherboard. If you need to know, I have an AMD CPU.

please tell the AMD CPU model. Because we need to know socket type to pick a motherboard.

Right now, I don't have my computer with me and I forgot my computer's specs. But, I think I need an AM3+ Socket type.

I would recommend this:

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 ATX AM3+ Motherboard @ $147.99, MacMall

This motherboard has three revisions - rev 3.1 (Latest), rev 3.0, rev 1.0.

Get the latest one rev 3.1:
- Which has high quality Nippon Chemicon ARE series professional audio capacitors, see images below (rev 3.0 & rev 1.0 don't have this).
- Support for XMP Memory (rev 3.0 has this but not rev 1.0)
