Which motherboard should I get?

I have an i7 4770(non-k) paired with an ASUS Z87-K motherboard which has served its purpose, I would like to downsize to the mATX form factor for the sake of portability but I'm not sure what motherboard I should get.

[strike]I also have a dac/ amp combo which requires a SPDIF input, but this is not a must have because I also have a uca202 which plugs into a usb port.[/strike]

The motherboards which I have selected are:

  Gigabyte - GA-B85M-DS3H - LINK
  ASRock - Z87M Extreme4 - LINK

Which one should I get? If not these, which other mATX motherboard would you recommend?

did you have a look at h97 motherboards?

ASRock H97M Pro4 have a look at that one ^^ I used that one myself for a little while, nothing bad to say about it

no point in getting a z87 motherboard for 2 reasons, it's an older chipset, newer and better is available and your CPU is locked, meaning a z87 motherboard is not needed

did you have a look at h97 motherboards?

ASRock H97M Pro4 have a look at that one ^^ I used that one myself for a little while, nothing bad to say about it

I will take this board into consideration, the only gripe I have with it is that it does not exactly match my colour scheme which is white and black

I do not have any desired features, all I require is a mATX board which somewhat matches my colour scheme of black and white, I also do not need to have the option of overclocking as my CPU is locked.
