Which motherboard to choose?

Hello,

I'm confused which motherboard to choose. My option includes MSI B250M PRO-VD and MSI H110M motherboards. My target processor is Intel G4620. Which one is better and why?

I don't remember correctly, but I read somewhere on the internet that H110 chipset isn't so reliable in terms of stability over time. Is it true? Should I stick with B250?

My option also includes MSI H310M PRO-VH. According to MSI website, the motherboard is for 8th gen processors, but with an LGA1151 socket. Can it harbor G4620, a 7th gen CPU?

B250 is better, H110 may need BIOS update.

No, H3xx can only support 8th gen, not 7th gen.

I won't do G4620 at this time point. 2 cores too few. What is your total budget? Living in US? Already owned parts? Major usage?

For my works, 4620 is enough. I'm not capable of going any higher CPU if I intend to have a decent build.

About the motherboards, is G4620 compatible with MSI H130M PRO-VH? Is H110 chipset reliable as I read a negative comment about it?

I'm from Bangladesh. So, H110 is alright? No need to panic about its stability over time? BTW, B250M is the highest price I'm planning for my budget, so my options are limited.

The highest value I can go up is the MSI B250M PRO-VD, about $85. My workload is gaming (medium core) and a lot of other works like Photoshop, heavy web browsing, and other stuff.

Do you have a GPU in mind? Or is your gaming fine with IGPU on 4620?

I have a GPU (GTX 750Ti) that's serving me well enough. I plan to upgrade it in the future to 1050Ti, but currently, budget isn't that strong.
