Which motherboard?

I wouldn't go too cheap on your motherboard ... it's your system's nervous system after all.

If you tell us your budget and the games/tasks you plan on doing, we can probably suggest complete builds.

BTW, have you considered AMD? They have inexpensive quality boards, same for CPU (and perhaps you can sqeeze an X3 chip in the budget).

well i recently immigrated to USA so i dont have my own system right now, hijacked my parents pc, its an athlon 3200+ 2ghz, 1 gig ddr 400, an i recently put an 8800gt in but the system is to slow to an battles with games, i have looked at amd, especially the 7750be kuma but the reviews were not lookin to good for over clocking an a lot of ppl suggested rather the e5200, an i am kinda new to over clocking, i have done it before but like 5+ years ago on an old amd socket 462 i believe or somethin close to that, so as cheap as possible is best, incase i damage something, all i am lookin to do is have somethin get me bye for like a month or 2 for playing games with out spendin money before i leave for basic training, then after that i want to use enlistment money for a phenom 2 am3 system, all i am upgrading on this current pc is ram, motherboard an cpu, would u suggest rather an amd setup? i did have a look at both an the price difference was bout $30 more for the intel setup.
thanks
