Which motherboard

Hello I am building my own PC for the first time and I don't know what motherboard I should get. The Components I was planning to put into my computer are following

Intel 3rd Generation Core i5-3570K
MSI HD 7850 Twin Frozr AMD Graphics Card
Samsung 840 Series Pro 128GB

In addition I would like to have 8gb ram. I was wondering if I need a cooler since I want to over-clock my processor and graphics card. It would also be great if my motherboard would have enough space for a second hard drive. The size of the motherboard doesn't really matter but what is quite important is that it has enough space for increasing ram and or building in a second graphics card....
If you have any better ideas for the configuration of my computer please tell me

All of these motherboards fit your specs. If money isn't the object, go for the first one. You always need a CPU cooler, no matter what. If you are over clocking your RAM you can get a Memory fan, but if your case has good airflow and your ram has heat spreaders you shouldn't need one (unless you are really pushing it).


if you are wanting a good air CPU cooler, go CM 212 EVO. For a good water closed loop cooler look at Corsair, Antec and the CM Siedon.

thank you very much for your fast answer. What are the differences of the motherboards and what case do you suggest? And do you think a water cooler is worth the extra money?

I'd go for the cheapest, as they are all basically the same chipset. Cases are highly personal decision. I'd go with a reputable manufacturer with good airflow and features that appeal to you. Bit Fenix, Antec, Thermaltake, Corsair, Rosewill, NZXT and Coolermaster have all good reputations.

Water cooling is only necessary if you are overclocking your processor. A good inexpensive air cooler like the CM 212 EVO or Enermax T40 is usually more than enough.
