Which msi gtx 970 is best for gaming 1080p??

So there is like 5 different gtx 970's from msi.. Which one is good for new games at 1080p and maybe 1440p in the future? I plan on overclocking but not for a while. This is the one I'm currently going with: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx9704gd5oc

Dont get that one, get a card with non-referenc cooler.

Asus, MSi, Gigabyte, EVGA all these GPUs are good pick the one you liked the most

Is that and the other one with one fan the only reference cooled 970's?

Left one is reference cooler, and the right one is non-reference

SO get a card with cooler similar to right card

That is what I got, delivered today, for my new build. MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4G.

I was close to buying the one that is called "4GD5T" in the model listing and is otherwise known as the "OC" model, GTX 970 OverClocking.... but most all the specs on the GAMING 4G seemed better and it has the Twin Frozr cooling rather than the "2X ARMOR" coolers ... EVERYONE seems to love the Twin Frozr.

As far as the other models, there is a Lesser model of the OC model that is just "4GD5" (I believe it is a "reference" blower-style cooler, what we don't want)- then two more GAMING 4G models - LE for "LITE" which is a lesser powered model but still nice, and was on sale for $299 recently (40 bucks off really) , and the 100 Million edition in Green and Black, I wasn't understanding the purpose of that card, I tried to understand by studying the specs but, I ended up saying, I like the red and black better anyway, the Gaming 4G / Twin Frozr is universally praised, just go with the good one, and I did.

Haven't built my rig yet so I can't give you answers but I am psyched to own it!!
