Which new GPU

Hi all,

I've recently assembled a new rig the only thing missing is a gpu. I'm on the fence wheather i should get the 980ti or the new 1080. Budget is not the issue, thing is i've got all the parts but now i'm a bit tired waiting. Also is the reference 1080 any good? Or should i wait even further?

If price ins't an issue, the GTX 1080 is the new king on the block. More VRAM than the 980Ti and performs slightly better. I know it sucks waiting but the Founder's (Reference) cards release in 2 days (for US). I myself will be up at 12:01 AM trying to find a place to purchase a 1080.

Wait for the GTX 1070/1080. Which PSU?

Corsair 750TX. Should i wait even further for the non reference card?

Yes, certainly, the Founders Edition is a waste. That PSU will suffice.
