which Nvidia driver 344.60 or 344.75

Hi,
I want to play call of duty advanced warfare, but don't know which driver to download, 344.60 was released with optimizations for call of duty advanced warfare but I don't know whether 344.75 has the same optimizations or not...please help Nvidia users, do newer drivers keep optimizations of previous games as well? sorry if it is a stupid question, I just don't know

Yes, newer versions of the drivers include all the optimizations of the older drivers.

I do agree with you my friend. But in release highlight for 344.75 they include only Far Cry 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Crew, and World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor. They dint mention Advance warfare COD.
But in 344.60, it is mention directly for Advance warfare COD.
Confused..???

I guess when they bring an update, they assume that you have all the latest drivers installed and that you know, what improves these drivers had. If they would write in every driver version for which games this driver is optimized already, then they would need to write a damn big list.

When releasing a driver, they dont for example add some lines of code which are good for one game. They pick a game (like Advanced Warfare) and update the whole driver, including performance optimizations which are tested especially on this particular game. And when there is a newer version, then they can't completely remove the older updates again.

Well!!! you have a point there. Just trying hard to play Advance warfare Call of duty. But getting Directx error. So trying updating the drivers. hope it works.

Well basically I dont think that all drivers before the 344.60 update came out should throw direct x errors I mean the games should work with older drivers, the drivers just optimize the gameplay, not fixing it. I'll hope the best for you

The thing is.... These new nvidia drivers suck. I still run 337.50, and yes I know it is a beta driver but it is the most stable, current, driver I have used. I recommend reading reviews/comments about each new driver release before updating. With 344.75, I have heard mixed reviews, where it works great for some and terrible for others. But this is also affected by different computer set-ups. Different builds yield different results. Anyway, what I am trying to say is that: The latest drivers MAY NOT always be the best drivers. "directx encountered an unrecoverable error" issue is coming while starting the Game. try updating all direct X drivers till 11 not working. so finding the solution. some says to update graphic driver so i am updating that. call of duty ghost was working fine but this i dont know why not working??

I would suggest to look into the windows event logs (search for event logs), then open the "windows logs" section and there the "application". Look for red marked errors, there you could find some information
