Which Nvidia Driver has the best performance?

I have bought a Hercules Prophet II MX, but seems like I can't get the best performance out of it?~!@#$

I have the following setup:
- Asus P3V4X,Cel 300A @ 450,128MB PC133, Windows2000
- Newest 4-in-1 Drivers
- Newest BIOS Updates
- Video Overclocked 205core / 205mem

I score around 2500 in 3Dmark2000 with the Official Release of 6.31 Detonators3 Driver, compare with others my score is about 1000 points off!?!? BUT once I tried the 6.67 Driver from www.gamers-ammo.com, I scored 3200 after. Unfortunately, the system crashes when i try to access the overlay controls after the benchmark.

So... is this the only solution to my LOW performance problem? or there is something else that I'm missing??

I don't really know what your problem is. You might want to try setting it to normal core/mem speeds and then try the 6.67 drivers again and see if it still crashes.

I like the 6.49 version. They seem to give me the best performance and the best stability with the least compatibility problems.

At www.nvguru.com you will find a link to a comparison of many of the Detonator drivers from 6.32 to 7.17. 6.50 is the fastest. I think 7.16 is the slowest but the 7 series has the most support for DirectX 8.0a
