Hi all,

Am getting assembled a new PC, which will have 'ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero' (Or Strix) motherboard, I look at the detailed review for the 'Radeon RX 5700 XT' model on youtube, seems it has few issues, and is not recommended to buy.

Am looking at price same as the RX 5700 XT (INR to USD = 565 USD and below)

  • Which other model under Radeon would you suggest?
  • Can i have a Nvidia graphic card on the above motherboard?
Updated:
Suggested CPU hardwares:
  • Amd Ryzen 7 3700X 3rd Generation
  • ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero
  • Corsair 32 GB RAM DDR4
  • 1 TB NVMe
  • New Cabinet (ATX) + SMPS (650W)

OK....that CPU is extremely fast and can handle pretty much any GPU out there.

An NVidia model that is very near in performance to that AMD model is the RTX 2060.
Here are the performance numbers for both. It's going for around $400 USD.

Both will work in your motherboard.

The RTX 2060 requires an 8 pin plug from the PSU.

The RX 5700 XT requires both an 8 pin and a 6 pin plug from the PSU.
