Which of the r9 280s is better

I'm a scrub when it comes to computers and I want to get a new gpu for a new build I'm doing.

So which is better the MSI or Gigabyte r9 280

The gigabyte has 950mhz core clock vs 933mhz for the MSI so go for the gigabyte.

MSI looks more promising as far as 280's go.
Sapphire also makes very nice cards.

Difference between them should be next to nothing. Same chip, both good coolers. The MSI doesn't have a price with it. I have the GB card in my computer and I remember reading after I bought it that it's voltage locked. It's locked high so it shouldn't hold back the chip, but if you are looking for the best COOL OC then the GB card might not be for you.

hmm well I probably wont be messing with the cards settings so temperature and performance wise would the gb be better? other that that the msi looks nicer lol

Temperature are better on the gigabyte and the clock is a bit higher so will perform a bit faster than the MSI.
