I want to get a new laptop because my old laptop gave out and I am starting college next year, mainly I will be using the laptop for studies and other related stuff but at the same time I do the occadional gaming so I am kinda stuck between those 2 laptops
The samsung NP780Z5E : http://m.bestbuy.com/m/e/product/detail.jsp?skuId=8048198&pid=1218863727568

Or the Sony Vaio T15: http://m.bestbuy.com/m/e/product/detail.jsp?skuId=7776364&pid=1218860268597

I read on some reviews that the wireless adapter on the samsung is really bad and that there are issues with the graphics card driver and It not being recognized.

So what do you guys think? Should I just leave the gaming for the xbox or what?

Also if anyone has other recommendations for another laptop which is available on bestbuy and in same price I'd appreciate it.

The biggest point for the Samsung and against the Sony is the significantly better quality display. Despite that both laptops come with decent resolutions of 1920x1080 (which is a step in the right direction either way), based on the Best Buy floor model I have seen the Sony's display has very poor contrast: It has trouble producing an adequately-dark black, giving the display a washed-out look. This is an issue for a lot of displays, but generally it's correlated with the baseline-resolution 15.6" 1366x768 displays. 15.6" 1920x1080 displays tend to be a lot better in quality than the Sony's is. But where the Sony does poorly in display quality, the Samsung goes way beyond decent. The Samsung's 15.6" 1920x1080 IPS display not only has excellent contrast and colors, it has very good viewing angles. Colors don't really distort at all when you look at the screen from an off-axis.
