Which of these 2 motherboards should I get for gaming?

I would take the ASUS over the MSI any day.
I dont recommend MSI motherboards due to historically poor QC in their boards.

Personally I'd go for the MSI. The color scheme is awful but lately Asus low end stuff seem pretty unreliable. From a connectivity standpoint the MSI has more sata drives and less usb 3.0 which for my personal taste is better. The M.2 slot on the asus is essentially another ssd on a stick and nothing more performance wise.

Between the two I'd go MSI. I would also check the Gigabyte UD series if it is in your budget.
