Trying to get a psu asap(cyber monday) best bang/buck in the 50-70ish range.

Based on 2 PSU calculators (toms and corsair site) all of the following will work.
I need somewhere around 418-430W. Future proof/upgrading is not a concern.

I was looking at Corsair Models but I'm open to suggestions
CV/450
CV550
CV650
CX450M -Is the only difference between this and the CV450 -Modular?

Thank you for the help

The CX is the better model but I won't recommend it until you list all your parts to make sure you're getting the power level you really need.
Thanks for the Reply

Info
Windows Home 10-64
3-4 yrs old.
Don't know the Chip.(Ill try to see if I can find it-post this before I do)
It seemed mid grade proc at the time.

Gigabyte LGA 1150 Mobo
8gb DDR3
Had a 600 Watt EVGA
MSI R9 290x Gaming 4G
250 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200
Toshiba 500GB SSD
Maybe 3 fans tops--Big One on Top (moves slow and quiet)
Normal size Front of the case
One exhaust in the back

If it even matters, --Corsair site recommended a 400vs 450vs and then the CX

The MSI 290x Gaming is a power hungry beast. Get the largest capacity you can up to 650 watts. If you can manage a Corsair CX650 that would be better than the CV.

Since you helped me figure out I need a 650w and I was going to buy the Corsair cv650, there is a Thermaltake psu - Smart BX1 650W Bronze that is the same price as the Corsair CV650
Do you have a preference?
