[SOLVED] Which of these cards is best with a Ryzen 5 2400G?

Hi all,

I'm considering a graphics card to add to my beloved Ryzen 5 2400G / 16Gb 3200 system.

Please note that I use a 1080p monitor, I'm not looking for "extreme" settings and prices in my country are usually higher than in the US.

I can get one of the following cards, sorted from cheapest to most expensive, with prices ranging from a little less than 140€ and 163€ (roughly 155$ - 182$):

• RX 570 4G (139€ - 155$ - XFX dual red fan XXX)
• RX 570 8Gb (149€ - 166$ - XFX dual red fan XXX)
• RX 580 8Gb (160€ - 179$ - Powercolor Red Dragon dual fan)
• GTX 1650 Super 4Gb (163€ - 182$ - Gainward Pegasus OC single fan)

Which one would you choose?

I'm guessing any one of them would work great with my CPU and honestly I think it would be pointless to go higher than a 1660Ti (which is MUCH more expensive!) .

Go for the 1650s. It trades blows with the 580 using 26% less power.

yeah the 1650S looks tempting, though it only comes with 4Gb of VRAM. It shouldn't be an issue at 1080p I guess, right?

4GB is plenty unless you like to run high antialiasing or resolution scaling.

What about a Gigabyte Aorus 580 4Gb at 140€? It's the same price as the 570, sounds like a deal?

Epilogue: I managed to get a used 4Gb XFX RX580 for 86€.
Considering It takes at least double that price to buy a new one, I think I got a pretty good deal! What do you think?

Just to give you an update: I picked up the card and it was in very good conditions, at least aestetically.
Then I had to wait a week to test it but I can confirm it works flawlessly: in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, I went from 25 / 30 fps @900p with medium / low details to 60 fps @1080p with high details!
I'd call this a significant improvement 😀
