Hi Community-

I'm a very light gamer who plays games like Call of Duty MW2, Minecraft, League of Legends, etc. I bought a light build and I also am looking to upgrade the card in it but I don't know what I will need. Here's the build:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz
GPU: nVidia GeForce 9400GT 1GB
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333MHz

As you noticed, the 9400GT is a very old card and is giving me troubles with the fan, etc. I'm looking between these two cards:

EVGA nVidia GTX 460 1GB 256-bit ($94)
PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit ($89)

Which of these cards would work better with my processor? Which of them would work better in my games?

I was about to purchase the GTX because it's 256-bit instead of 128-bit and just a few bucks more, but I wasn't sure.

Thanks,

~Nick

Solution
Well at that price level the 460 smokes the 7750 without a doubt

Depending on your power supply, you might want to consider a 7770 instead if you can find one within that price range as well since the 460 does draw a fair bit of power (being an older generation Fermi card and all)
