I am considering the following CPU's to pair with an RTX 2070 for my new video editing build/2D editing build and I cant decided which way i want to go Intel or AMD. I have no preference and have personally owned both Intel and Ryzen chips in the past so im curious what really is the best right now, not just by specs but by price to performance.

I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro CC2019, Adobe Photoshop CC2019, and Adobe After Effects CC2019. What would be my best option assuming I both do and do not overclock?

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8Ghz 12-Core | $600
AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 3.9Ghz 8-Core | $400
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6Ghz 8-Core | $330

Intel Core i9 9900K 3.6Ghz 8-Core | $500
Intel Core i7 9700K 3.6Ghz 8-Core | $365

Using Adobe premiere you should go intel. QuickSync makes any AMD CPU look like a joke. Literally the only reason you should buy intel atm.

Okay thank you. Do you know if the performance boost from the i7-9700K to the i9-9900K is worth the extra $135 or is it close enough to be pointless for video editing?
