Which of these CPUs will be best for me?

I agree with lazyboy for the fx, but IMO A8 is better then the athlon, since it has a slighty higher stock clock rate and it is newer. A new generation is usually better (within the same price range, ofc) because it has newer technologies

The Athlon is the newest cpu of the three. I don't know why everybody assumes it's old. The Athlon is also the best choice of the three since you have a 7770 already.

I agree that a FX 4300 would be a little better and a FX 6300 would be a lot better.

If the Athlon is newer, then my apologies, Ive got the wrong infos.

If you can't expand your budget to buy an FX-4300 the Athlon is the best of those three because the A8 is not designed for Gaming and you don't need the integrated GPU either as you have the HD7770; and the FX-4130 is a Bulldozer(Zambezi) CPU that is pretty poor in terms of performance.

Not sure if the link is for the site to compare or to do that and show the athlon cpu, except even tho its a athlon 750, the one in question is the FM2 Athlon X4 750k, not the 750mhz Socket Slot A cpu lol. The site isnt bad for comparisons spec wise, CPUboss compares two at a time with benchmarks and other things as well.

In my opinion always go for the AM3 socket. FM2 makes you stuck with Athlon or APU's. However, one day you may need a new CPU so, you will have to replace the whole motherboard for it. AMD FX series feature AM3 socket so when you have budget you can go for FX-9000 series.

I recommend the Bulldozers, simply because of the overclock potential. The FX-6300 is a great one, as afore mentioned, although the fx-6100 isn't a bad value prosessor either, nor the fx-8350 or 9xxx-series. One tip: don't buy dead platform, AM3 is good in my opinion but FM2 not so.

Out of that list the best is the a8, for 4£ extra you get EXACTLY the same cpu tech only with higher clock speed and an igpu which can game at low settings if you ever decide to change gpu and need to sell before you buy or your gpu fails and your without one for a while. The 750k is just a lower binned and effectively 'broken' a8 for £4 less.
