Which of these laptops is best for gaming?

So basically I'm buying a new laptop for gaming and i have a few models in mind, though i have a hard time figuring out which one will give me the best performance for my gaming needs. I'll just post links of images with the laptop's specs and names, so please tell me which one is the best for gaming!

Out of the ones you listed the first Dell Inspiron 3542 with the 840M would be the best choice followed by the Asus notebook which is a bit more expensive.

They all use fairly powerful i7s and the key difference in gaming performance would be the GPUs so the cheapest laptop would be a better choice in terms of money.

That being said, the 840M isn't very good for gaming to be honest, so it'd depend on what games you're looking to play.

I'm aware of the 840M's performance and I'm pleased with it, I guess I'll buy the 3542 then. It fits me pretty good. One quick stupid question, since the 3542 comes with a Linux OS I'm assuming I can buy a licensed windows 7 and install it instead of having the Linux? And if possible will it fuck with the laptop's overall performance?

Oh, that might be why the price is lower. If you're going to install Windows on it you'll just need to find the appropriate drivers on Dell's site to get it working.

It shouldn't mess with performance as long as you have the appropriate drivers installed and everything is working properly. If you can't bother with that then the Asus machine might be a good choice, unless it also comes with a Linux OS.
