Hi I've been told that because it's only an "8 Power Phase board.

This board just has a 6+2 Power Phase Design, which will lead to problems. If not now, then while overclocking or after like 1year of high wattage CPU."

What's your opinion on this?

Nope , go with 1600mhz on AM3+ setup.

"Well, this motherboard can overclock and with very good cooling of the Power phases, it will probably work. But it´s not that good if you wanna overclock and use the system for a longer lifetime."
