I need a monitor. I have been looking at Asus, Benq and Dell branded monitors because I know they are trusted brands with good quality monitors.
I need the monitor to be IPS for over all quality of color representation.
I would use the monitor for gaming, watching films, web surfing and music editing.

After looking around at different monitors I have chosen these monitors which fit my budget of around 200 pounds nicely:

Feel free to recommend any other monitors that would be good to consider.
Thanks in advance.

Just came across another monitor.

Its a TN panel but looks as good as a IPS according to linus, that sounds perfect for me. It has the quality, response time and looks good.
What do you think?, does it look as good as a normal IPS?. It would definitely be better than the monitors I have been used to over the years.

Thank you for the suggestion.
Definitely worth the money, but I can go up to 300 pounds for a monitor.
Keep that in mind.

Now this looks good.

Has great reviews, IPS, speakers, good response, what more could I ask for?.
Anybody have experience with this monitor?

I personally think you should go with another (non-game) monitor. They usually preform the exact same (or even better) and are cheaper. For the low input lag most monitors got a "game-mode", this makes sure there is as little imput lag as possible. I think this monitor is just a waste of money. (kind of the alienware of monitors)

That is a good point and thank you for the reply.
In that case, why do you recommend the Dell over the Asus monitor?, because I am finding it hard to find which is the better buy.

I am leaning toward the Asus to be honest.

If you don't want a two-monitor setup go for the ASUS
