Seasonic Focus, then Seasonic Core, would be my preference.

The EVGA BQ is a poor quality unit. I'm unfamiliar with the XPG, and I'm unaware of there being any decent Cougar models, though there may be some.

I'd have to agree with above. I recommend Seasonic Focus to pretty much everyone.

There is no way in hell a Seasonic Core is as good as ANY other "Gold" PSU out there. Including that Cougar.

I would say the XPG Core Reactor is AT LEAST on par with the Seasonic Focus.

If I had the choice, and those were my ONLY choices, I would pick the XPG HANDS DOWN. Unless that Focus was $10 cheaper.

Nope, just that I knew the Focus is good, the Core is okay, and I knew nothing about the XPG until @Archaic59 linked the review for it. I was definitely happy with what Aris had to say about it.
