I don't really know the firs thing about SSDs, so I'm not sure which of these I should buy next month. Can someone help me with which one is the best? I plan to move my Windows installation to it and then play games on the SSD, while using my existing HDD for storage.

Kingston SSDNow UV300 240GB - ?4,249
ADATA Premier Pro SP550 240GB - ?4,599
SanDisk PLUS SDSSDA-240G-G25 240GB - ?5,099
Silicon Power S60 240GB - ?5,099
Intel 520 Series 240GB - ?5,249
Samsung 750 EVO 250GB - ?5,299
Crucial BX100 CT250BX100SSD1 250GB - ?5,599
ADATA Premier Pro SP600 256GB - ?5,699

I've heard Samsung makes the best ones or something like that? I'm not an absolute stickler for performance, but I'd like something that's worth the price I pay for it.

Update: A couple more:

ZOTAC ZTSSD-A5P-240G-PE 240GB - ?5,199
Kingston SSDNow V300 240GB - ?5,999

At present I'm leaning towards the Samsung 750 EVO as it looks decently priced and offers 10 GB more, which could be handy. Any real reason to buy a different SSD over this one?

It's not really what's suited to what but more about how likely it is your SSD will take a crap on your data. The MLC one in your case doesn't cost much more but offers a lot more safety, and Intel's SSDs are legendary for being some of the highest-quality SSDs on the market.

I did some looking up and a few of the other SSDs have MLC as well:

SanDisk SDSSDA-240G-G25
Kingston HyperX Fury 240GB
Crucial BX100 CT250BX100SSD1 250GB
ADATA Premier Pro SP600 256GB
ZOTAC ZTSSD-A5P-240G-PE

Should I still stick to the Intel one? The Zotac one is ranked very highly on Userbenchmark.com for what it's worth, while the ADATA one will offer 16 GB more space.
