Sapphire tri-x as the GPU, doesn't matter which GPU, as long as motherboard has a single PCI-e x8 or x16 slot, GPU is going to work normally.

From the listed boards, ASUS board is better.

Honestly i'd go cheap on motherboard here a bit. These are some good boards for less,but have plenty of features.

Sapphire r9 390 Tri-X is the best in terms of noise , power consumption and performance over the others.
I would not really go for a maximus motherboard unless i have overclocking records to break.
Heck any z170 motherboard can crossfire , so even if you buy a 100$ board that will be sufficient for you , put your 100$ in graphics cards segment , rather than an expensive motherboard. SLI capability is one of the primary reasons of their cost and that is of no use to you.

Sapphire has better cooling, there service is also very good, i would personally choose sapphire for this particular card than any other.
