Then you have to decide what is more important. 1st has better cpu, 2nd has better GPU (and 8GB vs 6GB) so again, which is more important to you. The CPU on the 1st looks very much better than the one in the 2nd.

Isn't the pulse 3070 super low wattage and nerfed so bad that a full wattage 3060m will preform very close to it. MSI lower end gaming laptops are something to stay the heck away from.

I am a huge fan of MSI full disclosure.

I think you'd be happy with either machine. I personally would chose the ASUS in this case though. A better CPU and more Thunderbolt ports. The major detractor as a user for me of the ASUS would be WIN 11. I just don't like it, doesn't feel like it is quite ready for daily gaming

If it were me I would get the Asus Tuf, it's a lot cheaper, has a 12th gen CPU, Thunderbolt, better battery life and I would say a 'Tufer' chassis.
