Question Which of these two monitors is better?

I am considering a 1440p monitor for a future build and am undecided between these two monitors, which are priced the same. Can someone help me find which is better?

That second one there is 1080p.

QHD is 1440p (quad 720p, the original HD)
FHD is 1080p

Yeah, they didn't list these properly. They should not really be lumped together under one product name. So each "Style" is a completely different monitor.

When I clicked on your URL's, one lands me on an IPS FHD 100Hz panel = 1080p 100Hz while the other is QHD IPS 100Hz. I would side with the QHD if they're both listed with the same pricing.

On a side note, I'm not familiar with KTC. I'd look into some more reputable brands since people have been burned with "brands" selling them something but aren't available once they've gotten your money.

KTC isn't terrible. But I imagine quality varies from batch to batch. They are an OEM for many other brands which means they likely take off spec panels and do second run batches with them.

Online reviews seem fairly positive for the money.

Same thing still happens. It shows a picture and has specs for a 1440p monitor, but the second link has FHD selected as the style. If you ordered it, you might get a 1080p monitor.

Other than that, the spec descriptions appear identical.

For the money, nothing really out there. Next closest IPS is $150. At least without crawling the whole internet.

Please select the style that matches the picture below the link for the second option. They are both 135 USD and 27" QHD when I pull them up.

Would I have to worry about dead pixels with any KTC monitor?

Any monitor really. Amazon return policy would be the helpful thing there. You can have a lot of dead pixels and still have 99.97% of all pixels working. Really depends where said pixels end up how bad it could be.
