I think the ts made a typo and means this one for the motherboard,
http://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CCAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.asus.com%2FMotherboards%2FB85MG%2F&ei=OEe4U5-aGKfl4QSpqYEo&usg=AFQjCNFo5KfTymJcwm38WX2v2aOPe5kzOQ&bvm=bv.70138588,d.bGE&cad=rja

I would pick the first build too.I don't see the point in spending a lot more money on a 4670/4690,that would be money better spend elsewhere. If you could get the 4460 for about the same amount could you choose that one.
Can you get a 4690 or 4670k? If so, get one of those.

If not, I would recommend the 8350 if you can. It performs better than the i5 4440. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4440-vs-AMD-FX-8350

If you have to pick one of the ones above, then the i5 4440 is better for gaming unless you overclock. Anything that can take use of the AMD 8 cores will perform better on the AMD 8320. Games may or may not take the multi core route in the future. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4440-vs-AMD-FX-8320

Also, you case doesn't have adequate cooling with the fans it comes with. I recommend the Corsair Spec 02 or 03 in that price range. http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbide-Series-SPEC-02-CC-9011051-WW/dp/B00I0MKMG2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404535769&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+spec

The Spec 03 comes in different colors so I wont post a link to a specific one. Their website shows the different colors. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cases/carbide-series

Also, use the XFX PSU with either set up.

I would go with the first one unless your overclocking the FX-8320. But with some modifications.

Asus G85M-G is meaningless to put it bluntly, can't find info on it anywhere.

Go with an LGA 1150 H97 chipset motherboard e.g Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H.

Swap in the XFX 550W for better quality.
(Note: although not officially a Haswell certified PSU, most motherboards have the c6/c7 power saving feature disabled by default. Or you can simply disable it in BIOS yourself).
