Which of these will work in my PC (and is best)?

Hi,

I'm in the process of trying to get a new graphics card as I've been using integrated graphics for a while now so I would like some advice, both on capability of the graphics cards and the ability of my psu to power them.

My pc is:

CPU: i5 6500
RAM: Corsair 2400MHz 8gb ddr4
Motherboard: Asus B150M-A
PSU: Corsair CX430M

The graphics card I'm considering is:

1gb R9 270
2gb R7 260X
R7 265

or for a little cheaper (20% less maybe):

1gb R7 260X
1gb HD 7850
2gb HD 7790

Well you certainly don't have to worry about any incompatibility as that motherboard is a sky lake meaning it's up to date with hard ware. As long as the card is a 3.0 PCIe or a 2.0 PCIe 16x you are basically ok with it. I'm not really good as comparing AMD graphics cards because I'm all about NIVDIA but I do recommend if you are spending that money try for a NIVIDIA... Please anyone feel free to correct me because I dunno much about AMD graphics cards. But as many people say the more it is or newer it is the better it is....(I wouldn't really follow that quote but it works for most things XD)

There are things to like about both brands of GPUs Nvidia does have the geforce experience that helps a lot with optimal settings for games, and they are very timely with their driver releases. something like a gtx 960 or gtx 970 would be the current generation from nvidia

Well, actually, what is your budget? Also try to get a GPU that is still supported if you don't wanna spend that much on constant future upgrades

As ozikkk said it would be good to spend a little more to get a current GPU so you save money in the future by not having to upgrade as early.
