Which of this pair is best for gaming?

There are two laptops I want to buy and am confused with these two... Intel core i7 4700mq paired with nvidia gt 740m 2gb vs intel core i7 5500u paired with nvidia gt 840m 2gb.... They both have 8gb ram, which of them would give better gaming performance... Please need help ASAP...

Hi, the laptop with the i7 4700MP and the GT 740M is better. The Graphics cards are very similar but the cpu in the lapop with the gt 740M is much better. so go with the i7 4700MQ and the GT740M.

Yep, the i7 4700mq outperforms the other CPU by quite a bit in benchmarks. The guys are very similar
