Which of those processor is best for casual gaming?

I'm thinking between i3 4160 3.60 Ghz or AMD FX 6300 or AMD Athlon x4 750k.
On many sites it seems i3 has best performances, is that really the case because i3 4160 has only 2 cores while those AMD ones have 4 and even 6 cores?

i3 4160 hands down. Even though it has fewer cores, those cores are far more powerful than the cores in AMD CPUs.

Why not the newer, faster i3 6100?
