Which one’s better

I am looking at building a gaming pc, but I don’t know if I should go with a r5 2600x and rtx 2070, or r7 2700x with a 1070 ti. I’ve been hearing a lot about rtx being bad lately as well. Is it best to go with the first or second combo? Is rtx really bad?

Out of the two, the one with a stronger cpu (since you're getting a high end GPU the choice is much easier)

You'll end up upgrading that GPU still before you retire the system. So it's more important to have a stronger cpu for it to be useable longer and handle later hardware upgrades. But really, 1070ti is quite good
