Looking at these three MB
Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Hero for 500.00 , would be 1st choice, but support and bad out of the box is a concern.
ASUS ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi 6E 399.00 Slower than expected only 1 m.2 v5 slot
MSI Carbon z690 wifi Just average, older codec, but has 5 m.2 v5 slots decent vram, better suppot.
Open to hearing comment or other mtherboards I missed for the 500 range. thanks to all
