the PG279Q is by far the superior monitor. but that's why it costs more as well.
personally I wouldn't buy the Dell unless the budget is an issue (even then I'd look at comparable VA/IPS screens instead of a TN)
also: I think the 980Ti supports freesync via DP since this January. so you might wanna buy a freesync screen for cheaper (difference for the Asus is around 130 quid or so)
