Which one i should choose

Hey guys i don't know what should i choose. GTX 1070 and 1080p@144hz or for the price of 144hz and g sync i can get gtx 1080 with 1080p@60hz monitor without g sync, i want my pc last for long time, so what's better choice?

if you dont plan on going over the 1080p resoluton i would get the 1070 do not get a 1080 for 1080p its just really meant for higher res.

Well i want my pc future proofed, the gtx 1080 will last longer than gtx 1070 and i want it to last for at least 8 years, so isn't it better to get 1080?

8 years is a hell of a stretch for a gpu i would spend half the money now. Then in 4 years swap out the card for a crazy stronger one for another 400 gpus are getting crazy updates in strength save your money and spend it in 4 years.
