Which one is better between G.SKILL TRIDENTX F3-2400C10D-8GTX RAM & G.SKILL RIPJAWS F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL RAM??

Hello can anyone please tell me which one should I get between G.SKILL TRIDENTX F3-2400C10D-8GTX RAM & G.SKILL RIPJAWS F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL RAM?? Both kit are available at a nearby store and price difference is about $20.

First what mobo and CPU? If mobo and CPU support 2400 then that's definitely the best choice, if you were to run the 2400 sticks at 1600 they should run at 1600/7 which is far better than 1600/9, though the extra bandwidth of 2400 is well worth it. Wrote an article on 2400 sets a couple months back and it shows comparative performance of 2400 vs 1600 with the same sticks in this type scenario on both AMD and Intel rigs

I was thinking of using Core i5 4590 on GIGABYTE GA-Z97-HD3/GA-Z97X-SLI. both the mobo support 2400 (oc).

The mobos do, but with the 4590, will prob be good to maybe run 2133, 2400 often requires a slight OC of the CPU
