[SOLVED] Which one is better?

Hello,

Ive been struggling with this decision for a week now. The two TVs in question are:

1. Philips 70PUS7304 - 70inch
2. LG UM7180 - 75inch

My initial choice was the LG but im just not sure, thoughts?

The ambilight on the Philips is lovely and all BUT the LG has a way way way better panel and 'proper' HDR10.

It's just a better TV full stop.

There was a setup by govee that included a camera which monitored the screen and controlled the led's automatically but it seems to have disappeared nowadays.

It wasn't all that anyway to be honest.

If you want ambilight buy the Philips, it's not a terrible TV by any means and you'd probably be happy but on picture and audio quality the LG is just better.

Ambilight looks great in certain cases, especially if wall mounted with light or magnolia walls, on a TV stand away from the wall though the effect is massively diminished.
