x1900GT is junk, between the 2, its the 7900GT. Also consider the x1800xt, that also is a contender in that price range.

The X1900GT isn't junk, it just is outmatched by the X1800XT. This review shows a 256MB X1800Xt beating both at high res and eye candy, with the X1900GT coming close to the 7900GT with fsaa (it manages to win 3 games). Overall IMO that review finishes X1800XT > 7900GT >X1900GT.

Anyway, I agree the 7900GT would also get my vote to the OP except for a rare game, and the X1800XT definately gets my vote over the X1900GT. But the X1900GT isn't junk by any means.

I see what he means though. It's junk for the price... but if they had it at sub-$200, it would rock the kasbah.

Hopefully the new X1900 GT dies will bring the price down to there...

Yeah, I do too, (at least to some extent), but I guess I reacted to the wording; way to drastic IMO. The X1900GT was a disappointment and is outclassed when priced the same as the other two, but it's not a bad card by any means.
