Hmm.., do you see yourself maybe using 2 cards - like either cheap 4770 CF
or buying one card like a 4870 or 4890 and upgrading later? If so then you should get the standard ATX format MOBO because GPU is more important than CPU for most games.

However if you are a one card kinda man - then you don't really have to worry about it.

As for overclocking stability it is harder to say, check these reviews out:
