Hey guys,

I'm just putting the final touches to my new build and I'm a bit stuck on which PSU to choose.
I found these 3 below, all Semi-Modular, all have 4x 8-pins which I need for my GPU (Well I'm buying a 7970 Vapor-X now and want to add a second next year), and I think 750w or above should be enough, but please tell me if you think I need more.
The problem I'm having choosing between them is they're all the same price give or take £2, 2 are XFX XXX series and 1 is XFX Black series. The Black series one is 750w but has a Silver 80+ rating, one is a XXX series 750w but only a Bronze 80+ and the other is XXX series 850w but only has a Bronze 80+.

Is there a big difference between Silver 80+ and Bronze, and is there a difference between Black Series and XXX Series???

850w Bronze 80+ - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/850w-xfx-xxx-p1-850x-xxb9-hybrid-modular-85-eff-80-plus-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-quiet-fan-atx-v
-------- Or --------
750w Silver 80+ - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/750w-xfx-xxx-p1-750b-ukb9-88-eff-80-plus-silver-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-fan-atx-v22-psu
-------- Or --------
750w Bronze 80+ - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/750w-xfx-xxx-p1-750x-xxb9-hybrid-modular-85-eff-80-plus-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-quiet-fan-atx-v

My Build:
3570k + OC'ing
Sapphire 7970 Vapor-X (Will add a second 7970 next year)
ASRock Extreme6
8GB Vengeance

Thanks everyone

Hi - my thoughts are that all (or most) non oem resellers use the cheaper parts
in their budget/opening price point series, and that if finances allow when purch
a PSU try to go 1 to steps up from the budget; ie with Corsair go with at least
TX, preferably HX, more $$ but better product/value.

Ok thanks guys, both of you recommend the 850w. So I'm guessing then there isn't a huge difference between Bronze and Silver 80+???

Just one more thing, does anyone know what the difference is between the XFX Black series and the XXX series???

Well I've read loads of threads on here asking for PSU advice and 75/80% of the replies I read regarding Corsair PSU's say that they used to be good quality but newer versions now use cheap parts so they ain't as reliable, not all Corsair PSU's but a fair few.

Hi - Even tho you can run that setup with the 750w units, since thae price is almost the same for the 850 XFX,
I'd go that route and have the xtra headroom.
