A friend of mine has both of these and is trying to decide which one he'd rather keep and which one he wants to sell. Pro's and Con's of both? main differences? From me being over there playing with both the first one with the AMD FX-8350 seems to be better.

Solution
i7 is the top of the heap, there is no challenger or contender still to a i7 period. For performance and having the latest (the FX-8350 was released in 2012) tech, plus overclocking capability (the K in 4770 means you can overclock it) that is the best of the best. AMD has abandoned the FX line of CPUs, and the FX-8350 in current gaming scores (google Nameofgame CPU benchmark) below the i5-4xxx line and just above the i3-4xxxx.

Now the only 'CON' is yes some games aren't optimized / perform better with a Dual 760 setup, in fact some games actually perform WORSE when you Dual card (Dual AMD OR Dual NVidia) and that is all based on the programming and such. Personally I NEVER dual card, since is a waste, as the cost for the 'Dual'...

For gaming yes, but what about for other things aswell? Also dont a lot of games not supper SLI?

Solution

Popular games such as Battlefield do support SLI. Well most people and me too will know that SLI or Crossfire is something to be getting in the future as it is extremely useful.
