Which one should I get?

Currently I have a GTX 970 from MSI. I am currently upgrading to a gpu that would fit streaming/gaming needs on 300$. It should go with my i7 7700. Which 1060 should I get? Also is there a performance difference between the evga ftw than a normal one?

well You should get the GTX 1060 @ 6GB one and there are Asus And Gigabyte cards even MSI which has Higher Clock speed then the normal one

i believe its more worth to wait a little more and go for the gtx 1070 instead. way more future proof

yeah, upgrading from a 970 to a 1060 isn't much of an upgrade. The 1060 is only marginally faster.

edit: if you go for a 1060, just get whichever one is cheapest. The SC/OC versions are just gimmicks. They are OC'ed but most of the time rarely offer more than a few FPS over stock. The FTW/OC/SC versions typically have better cooling and maybe some RGB lighting. If those things are important to you then go with one of them. Otherwise a vanilla version is just fine. Asus/MSI/EVGA are all good brands with decent warranties. Much of the same really. Personally I like my Asus Dual 1060.
