I recently build a 3950x system. At bios, I setup everything in auto except voltage @ 1.25V.
Most of time I'm using this computer for Folding@Home to help fighting COVID-19 and CANCER protein.

I notices that on CPUz and CPUID somehow showing 4.26Ghz @ 36c(95F) which amazed me
that AMD can have such leap in their 7nm architecture. However, when I open the windows
manager monitor it only shows 3.66Ghz. Now I'm a little bit confused, and why this happened?
Are there solutions to addresses this kind problem?

ASUS VIII HERO
AMD 3950x
32GB(16GBx2) 3200 Corsair Vantage
1TB M.2 WD Back
1TBx2 5200RPM Toshiba 2.5 HDD
2080 Super MSI SEA HAWK

Just a warning, Folding at Home runs Ryzen temps extremely high as you are seeing. If you want to fold with that cpu you will need excellent water cooling.

I don’t have sufficient cooling to run F@H for my 3800x.

I'm using Corsair H150i Pro. I think this should work, but still. When I overclock to 4.2Ghz that temperature raise to 83c+. So that is one of reason why I set my clock to Auto. let AMD itself decided.
